  2. I was looking on the Fitness Fun page and discovered an "Ad Decoder" page. This page described how different advertisements, whether on TV, in a magazine, or on a billboard, can be misleading and unhealthy. It explained different ways that advertisers try to appeal to customers, such as showing a celebrity using the product or ensuring you will be "cool" if you purchase the product. Products like cigarettes are portrayed in ads as something that will make you happier and popular, but in reality, it can lead to terrible things, like nicotine addiction or lung cancer.

  8. You'll need a horse riding gear and a helmet. Pick the horse that's right for you. If you're a beginner, go for a horse that is five-years-old or older—they are calmer and give a smoother ride. You shouldent waer jewlery or baggy clothes Waterproof jackets aren't good because the noise they make could spook the horseRiding gloves will stop the reins from slipping out of your hands. Wear hard-toed leather boots or shoes that completely cover your ankles and have heels Approach your horse carefully and from the side—not from behind. You might get kicked! Also, watch your feet, cause it hurts when a horse steps on you. Keep a good grip on the reins at all times so you can control the horse. Lead the horse from its left side with your right hand. Your left hand should hold most of the rope, folded accordion-style. Don't wrap the rope around your wrist, hand, or body, because if the horse takes off, you don't want to go with him!

  9. The fitness fun blog talking about tsunamis and believe it or not they are like 50 feet or more high. Tsnamis are caused by earthquakes and if you happen to be at a beach and see a huge wave it would be very hard to not get injured because they move very very very fast

  13. I went on the Internet Safety site and read about the dangers of children going on the internet. The site warns about cookies, which are small files companies place on your computer to track your history. I think it is a good website to alert parents about the risks of letting their children on the internet by themselves.

  17. I have read the surfing article and I found it to be interesting. If you lead with your left foot, you’re regular footed and the left foot goes near the front of the board when you’re surfing. If your right foot goes first, you’re goofy footed and the right foot goes up front. I also found out that female surfers are known as "wahines."
